Something about the cool weather just leaves you craving hot carbs, right? Well look no further than this 1977 gem from our collection, Maria Polushkin’s The Dumpling Cookbook.

Ms. Polushkin covers it all; drop dumplings, filled dumplings, fritters, sweet dumplings. She also highlights dumplings from various countries and regions; Italian, Russian, Uzbek, Korean, Chinese and Argentine (among others). If the chill leaves you craving matzoh ball soup, mandoo or bunuelos stop by the library and check it out!
